In this article, you will learn how to add users within the Blackcart Merchant Portal.
Blackcart has the following types of user permission/roles:
- merchant.config
- merchant. billing
- merchant.api
- merchant.admin
- merchant..customer-service
Merchant Admin can Add New Users to the portal.
Steps:
- From the Merchant portal click on Users.
- Click Create Account on the top-right corner.
- Editable rows will be displayed.
- Enter Name, Email, Temporary Password and check mark the appropriate role.
- Click Create Account.
- (If you would like to add more user Click on Create & Add Another).
- Account is successfully created.
Note: This will NOT send a automatic email notification to the new User
To Notify the new user, please send a reset password email.
Steps:
- Once the Account is created,
- Go back to the User Page
- Select the user to whom you want to send the password reset email.
- Click on Reset Password on the right hand corner.
- Password reset notification is sent to the New User.
Note: To send multiple Reset Password emails, select all users and click on the select action button on the top right corner, then click reset password and run action.
