How to connect your Stripe account to Blackcart

How to set up fund transfers for your Try Before You Buy orders

 
Blackcart uses Stripe to transfer funds to merchants for Try Before You Buy orders. You will need a free Stripe account to receive payments from Blackcart, that you can then transfer to your bank. You do not need to use the Stripe account for credit card processing in your store.
 

Requirements:

In order to complete the Stripe sign up process you will need to have a few key pieces of information on hand.
  • A mobile phone number (for 2 factor authentication)
  • Your banking information
    • Transit Number
    • Institution Number
    • Account Number
  • Billing address
  • The currency you wish to be paid in
  • Your store URL

To set this up:

  1. Click on the Stripe | Connect button. This will take you to a secure Stripe page where you can either sign-in to your existing Stripe account and connect to Blackcart, or if you don't already have a Stripe account, create a new account and then connect to Blackcart.image.pngimage.png
  2. Once your Stripe account is successfully connected, you will see a confirmation status.image.png
  3. From here, you'll be able to navigate to the third and final step for setting up your Merchant Portal account, Returns Shipping Integration (EasyPost).
